  • LOW POTASSIUM FOODS :

Bottle gourd, broad beans, cucumber, field beans, oalcopi, radish pink, mango Green, ridge gourd, snake gourd,French beans, tomato green, broccoli, apple, guava, jamrul (rose apple), orange, papaya ripe, pears, pineapple.

  •  MODERATE POTASSIUM FOODS : (CAN TAKE TWO OR THREE DAYS IN A WEEK)

Bitter gourd (green white), brinjal, cauliflower, pumpkin fruit, onion stalks, ladies finger, kamranga, pomegranate, tomato ripe, water melon, squash.
  • HIGH POTASSIUM FOODS : (IF SERUM POTASSIUM LEVEL EXCEEDS 5.3 AVOID THESE FOODS)

All kind of dhal and dhal products like papad, bada, chatu, besan, all kinds of green leafy vegetables, potato, raw papaya, sweet potato, lotus stem, dry chilli, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, drum stick, jackfruit, lemon, high fruit juices, chocolate etc.

Tips:-

High and moderate potassium vegetables should be boiled before eating and thus you can maintain your potassium level in the blood.
